If Time Matters.—5 Stars
If time is important to you, the Rod Vault is for you. Prior to my son's birth, I fished 2-3 times a week. After he was diagnosed with autism, I now fish less than 12 times per year. Time on the stream has always been valuable; however, it is extremely limited now, and every second counts. The rod vault allows me to not only securely and safely transport my rods; but more importantly, it saves me precious time when pursuing the fish of central PA.

I needed parts for my Rod Vault due to accidentally driving into the garage door! The folks in the shop were very helpful and sent the parts via overnight so that I could fix the problem and leave on a fishing trip. Great customer service.

Great Product / Bad Experience—3 Stars
The product is great. The customer service is terrible. Had to wait almost 7 months to get my order filled. Gave me the run around about getting a refund. Kept promising delivery and never got it. Finally, just forgot about and it showed up. 7 months after I ordered it. Ordered some parts for it the other day and that went pretty smoothly. They even credited my shipping correctly like they said they would. Might have it finally dialed in. The first experience was so bad that I have a hard time trusting them now.

Prior to new ownership in 2018, the company had a problem keeping up with demand. To compound the issue, communication was downright awful. Under new ownership, all backorders were fulfilled, orders are shipped next business day and we have a team of folks based in Denver available to answer any questions or resolve issues by phone, chat or email.

I was a little concerned after reading some old reviews about how long some Rod Vaults were taking to be delivered. I am extremely satisfied with how quickly mine was delivered and how helpful the staff at Denver outfitters were in responding to any questions I had. I would recommend them 100 percent.
